Māori Language Week : ウィキペディア英語版 | Māori Language Week Māori Language Week, ''te wiki o te reo Māori'', is a government-sponsored initiative intended to encourage New Zealanders to promote the use of Māori language. Māori, English and New Zealand Sign Language are the official national languages of New Zealand. It is part of the broader Māori language revival. It has been celebrated since 1975 and is currently spearheaded by Te Puni Kōkiri, the Ministry of Māori Development and the Māori Language Commission, with many organisations participating, including schools, libraries, government departments, etc. In 2015 the New Zealand national cricket team played under the name of Aotearoa for their first match against Zimbabwe to celebrate Māori Language Week.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=New Zealand to play as Aotearoa )〕 ==Occurrences==
